100 GAMES for Perry!

#Hayman100

Northern United RFC acknowledges Perry Hayman

Perry Hayman will run out tomorrow for the 100th time as a Premier player. Perry first played for Norths in the Nursery grade back in 1992 and played on as a Junior club member right up through to the Under 13s.

When Perry started at Aotea College he played golf at top level representing New Zealand from the age of 16 to 20. He has won several titles including the NZ Under 19 and Under 23 Championships.

He returned to Rugby in 2009 playing for the Colts that year and made his Premier debut in Round 1 of the Jubilee Cup against Tawa.

Perry became a regular starter for the Premier team from 2011 and took on the kicking duties from 2013. He has also represented Horowhenua Kapiti in the Heartland Championship from 2012 to 2016.

Perry’s strength on the field is his elusive and strong running coupled with an accurate boot. He is a great team and club man who is always looking for ways to better himself, not only as a player but also giving back to the club as an Under 8's Junior coach for the club.

Perry works as a green keeper at the Royal Wellington Golf Club, he is supported by his partner Holly and proud father of Aniyah (8years), Kayden (6 years) and Koiyah (1 year).

Congratulations Perry from your Norths Whānau
