SWINDALE SHIELD 2018! First round down...
 

Once again our Premiers lift the Swindale Shield, taking the first round ahead of Old Boy University by 1 point since 2011.

An epic match that capped off a beautiful Porirua day which started with the sounds of our Juniors at home on their Club day, then it was onto our Womens who secured the Rebecca Liua'ana Trophy (formerly known as the Fleurs Trophy) in the #BattleOfTheBridges match against Paremata-Plimmerton, with one round to spare. 

Our Premier Reverses however went down to a very strong Marist Saint Patrick's squad as they battled it our for the Harper Lock Shield. MSP taking it home undefeated in the first round.

The different case scenerios of who could take the Swindale Shield home did not phase our boys as they came out firing with a 45-0 lead at half time. MSP managed to close the gap but our boys held out to take the win, the Maurice Standish Cup and of course the Swindale Shield!
