Northern United Rugby Football Club is excited to announce our Coaches for the 2022 season.

Premiers Head Coach - Grainger Heikell
Senior management - Thomas Perenara, Richard Higgins, Peato Lafaele, Matt Rountree, Andrew Maligi Lawrence Yarrall.

Grainger is not new to our Club, he was our Game Development Officer from 2016-2018. His coaching experiences have been both here in Aotearoa and professionally in Europe. From Gisborne, Grainger has made our city of Porirua his home and he has a passion to develop community and club rugby.

Premiers Womens Head Coach - Aimee Sutorius
Assistant Coach - Dawn Patelesio

The veteran duo return to the coaching space to lead the womens next season. Aimee and Dawn collectively bring over 50 years of experience into the team both playing and coaching our Norths side for many years. The two are well versed in the game both playing internationally for their respective countries of New Zealand and Samoa.

Colts Head Coach - Nate Lambert

Many members will remember Nate from his role as Junior Convenor here at North’s. Nate returns after a few years coaching at St Pats, Silverstream.

We would like to acknowledge and thank Gerrard Fasavalu, Matt Poutoa, Tane Karepa, Frazer Edwards, Faafoi Seiuli, Mike Parker and Mike Berry for their valuable contributions to our Club both on and off the field. We wish you all well in your new endeavours.
